A rich, velvety southern Italian red made by Andrea Bernardini from Nero di Troia. The grape takes its name from the ancient Puglian town of Troia, said to have been founded by the Greek hero Diomedes after the fall of Troy. Deep purple-red, with intense black fruit and savoury spice.
